Training of Making Natural Colours for Holi (March 16-23, 2016) started today on March 16, 2016 at Jimmy McGilligan Centre for Sustainable Development .
Chief guest of the opening programme PadamShri Bhalu Mondhe said,” Love for Nature is love for God. Nature gives us so much we need to show our love by protecting nature.
Janak Palta McGilligan and her husband Jimmy McGilligan devoted all their life passionately and selflessly and have worked for years in Solar Energy and saving the environment.Women are the best teachers and trainers as mothers and grandmothers and you can bring changes in generations.” Some of the participants expressed their gratitude that even if they had Poi growing in their backyard and have been using Spinach and beetroot but they have first time learnt how to make colours. Training is so simple and easy.
They were excited to solar cook and prepare the colors and packed their bottles to show to their children .
This was the first group of 20 women of Vaishali Mahila Mandal ,Vaishali Nagar, Indore .
Next groups lined up are ISB Women Entreprenuers ( Hyderabad ) Alumni – Indore Chapter) and NIPCCD ,local youths of Sanawadiya .

Main objective of this training is to save the environment and health of people by empowering them with knowledge and skills of making natural colours and so that they can also earn money , and become smart entrepreneurs of Indore to make it a smart citizens and they can really enjoy the festivals of colours with Happy Holi . This will also sustain the Indian rich culture of healthy and eco-friendly festivals.
